Blueberry Porridge Recipe (Sugar-Free)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of porridge oats

  • 2 cups of almond milk (sugar-free)

  • 1/2 frozen blueberries

  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey

    (Optional. Not suitable for babies < 12mo. Avoid ingredient for a sugar free meal)

  • 1 tsp coconut flakes

  • 1 bananas

METHOD

  1. Pour oats, frozen blueberries and milk to a saucepan on low heat

  2. Stir continuously whilst cooking

  3. Remove pan from heat when milk begins to boil (if too thick add more milk)

  4. Add maple syrup (optional) and coconut to porridge and stir till all mixed

  5. Transfer porridge with a spoon in bowls and add sliced bananas

  6. Sprinkle bowl with extra coconut

  7. Serve warm
