Clio’s Granola Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Adjust to taste:

  • 1 cup sugar-free porridge oats

  • 1 cup sugar-free puffed oats

  • 1 cup sugar-free cornflakes

  • 1 cup sugar-free spelt flakes

  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts

  • Mixed Seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, chia & sesame)

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

    (Not suitable for children < 24mo)

  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

  • Dried apple

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C (top and bottom heat)

  2. In a large bowl, mix cereal, nuts, seeds and cinnamon

  3. Add melted coconut oil and add 1 tbsp syrup. Combine all ingredients with a wooden spoon

  4. Tip the granola mixture onto an oven tray and spread it out evenly

  5. Bake for 20min

  6. Remove from oven and add dried apples, stir it all up and let it cool down 10min.

  7. Once cooled down, serve with milk or yogurt

  8. Store leftover granola in a sealed jar for 10 days max
