Turkey Panko Milanaise Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 4 thin slices of turkey filet

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 squeezed lemon

  • 1 pinch salt (not suitable for babies < 12mo, avoid if possible)

  • 1 pinch pepper

METHOD

  1. In one shallow dish, add panko, black sesame seeds, fresh parsley and pinch of salt and pepper.

  2. Break your egg in a second shallow dish and whisk

  3. Dip thin turkey slices into the egg, then dip in panko until all sides are covered, slightly adding pressure so it sticks to it

  4. Preheat non-stick frying pan on medium-high heat and add olive oil

  5. Place panko coated turkey in frying pan and fry on each side 3-5 min until lightly golden

  6. Add lemon juice before you remove your turkey from heat, and let it sizzle for 30 seconds

  7. Serve hot and add another splash of squeezed lemon
